Be cautious not to lose all your Tibia Tokens

As we know, in a few weeks, Tibia Token will be released, marking a leap in innovation with Tibia being one of the pioneers among the longest-lasting games to adopt this technology.

However, I imagine that the vast majority of players have never used blockchain before, and I would like to issue some warnings to prevent many from falling victim to scams and literally losing all their Tibia Token balance.

To interact with the Tokens, you will need a wallet. You'll probably use Metamask.
To transact with other sites, like decentralized exchanges to convert your Tib into other cryptocurrencies, you'll need to connect your wallet to these sites. Each time you connect, an alert will pop up asking for permission for the site to access your balance to facilitate transactions. So far, so good. However, there are malicious sites that request permission to initiate and complete transactions on their own within your wallet, and if you authorize it once, it's game overthey can literally clean out everything you have. So, always be careful where you connect your wallet.
There are also malicious Tokens that, if you add them to your wallet, can hack you, so don't add or transact other types of Tokens you're not familiar with. There are people who send these malicious Tokens to you for free, and there's no issue with them being in your wallet as long as you don't transact with them.
Never, under any circumstances, share your 12-word seed phrase with anyone. No matter the problem you've encountered and even if someone offers to help, you should never provide these 12 words. They are literally your email, password, authenticator, and recovery key all in 12 words. And there's no support to help you if you lose them. If you lose those 12 words, it's over. Save them in a safe, physical location. Never on a computer.
There are numerous other precautions, but I wanted to provide a basic overview so you know that while crypto is wonderful, it's a hostile environment even for those who've been around for a while. Any oversight can lead to losing everything with no one to turn to. Freedom requires double the caution. So, do a lot of research online before you start messing with it impulsively. If you have any doubts and I can help, leave them here in the comments.
