Stupidly hoping for a Saxon redemption arc:

I get it, I get it. He sucks. He’s self-absorbed and gross. The massage thing was inexcusable, and he’s done a lot of stuff that’s very uncool.

But I think there’s real affection in the way he treats Lochlan. He just wants his little brother to thrive in the only world he thinks there is. When Lochy was going to posture class and he did that little straighten-up reminder, he wasn’t negging, there was a real “ha ha, go get ‘em, bro!”

Piper, smartly, keeps Saxon at a bit of a remove, but it also fits his character for him to not really want to mentor his sister, aside from hoping that she, too, gets herself laid.

At this point, I think the most interesting thing the show could do would be to show that even someone like him can grow, that his identity isn’t fixed in stone either. (And if you throw in some shock at his beloved father’s apparent fall from grace, there you go.)

And if Lochlan really is queer somehow, I think Saxon could handle it without losing any steam. “Alright, alright, let’s go get you some man ass, then!”
