I believe mass i bugged after the update, please unfix
At some point during a run, I am hitting elites that I can't outright kill with damage, but they won't get to the tower for about a minute or two of game time. The point during the run obliviously varies depending on tier. For example, my last run was on T4 and at about wave 4,500 it was happening. Prior to the patch at that wave and subsequent, the elites would fly steadily into the tower. What this means is that my runs are being cut short by vampires that I can't kill or take way to long to kill by getting to the tower. This has resulted in missing out on 1.5 to 2K waves on T4.
The reason I think it is a bug is based on the patch note:
- Mass was not being correctly boosted during runs. To not completely change game behavior since this wasn't working before, we made mass only start to be increased on high waves, but on new tiers this will work from the first wave.
To me that note says that mass will be increased, which would mean I shouldn't be seeing this behavior of the elites stuck in-between orbs and tower for an extended period of time.
Can someone else confirm this? Can the mass change be reverted to prior, or fixed so that mass is increased? If not, then why does it seem like every update is geared to long term players? After the last update, it took almost 2 months to get back to where I was prior. If this mass behavior is intended, then I am estimating a month to get back to where I was yesterday. It is disheartening to get kicked in the gut every time an update drops.
If it is working as intended, can you define the 'increased on high waves' part of the note? I am not looking forward to micromanaging my runs by pulling out the attack speed card from wave x,xxx to x,xxx again. Honestly that thought runs counter-intuitive of the addition of auto perks order, and the idea of unattended runs.
