2024 starter guide / tips for a new player

Absolutely loving the game as a first time player.

Can consistently get to 200+ waves at tier 1 (I know this is not even close to some of you chads).

I was wondering what are the best upgrades to focus on in the workshop and lab at such a low level?

Created this post as I could not see a recent guide, let's me know your thoughts on the best way to gain progress at such a low level!

Wish me luck on getting tier 2 wave 90 for the (unknown) at the bottom!
