Question about the length of the training program for the Rookie.

How long is this program for training the rookies?

It seems like they have an initial testing/training because Nolan, West, and Chen started at the same time. I would assume that this type of training included weapons training, fighting, and police tactics. This must be a few months.

Then it seems like the rookies go to a station and are assigned to a training officer. How long is the time from going to the station and to finish their program?

Also...is P1 a rookie, P2 a patrol cop, and P3 a detective/ or could be a detective if they wished?
