Mai’s fashion in modern AU?

Hi, I have a bit of a very small question, but I'd like other people's input.

For context: I'm writing a fanfic for ATLA characters set in a college AU, and Mai, Azula and Ty Lee are about to go to a party.

My question is: Would Mai wear and dress on this occasion, and if yes, what kind? If No, what would she wear instead?
