Faye has been terminated from NineStar Studios - Important FayeYoko Update
Faye has been terminated from NineStar Studios due to "differing perspectives in terms of internal working style and personal potential conflict of interests with external personal businesses".
NineStar has had so much controversy. So many people have quit. They did Faye dirty and it already felt like they were trying to squeeze every last bit of money out of Faye and Yoko.
Yoko is still with NineStar Studios.
Any projects or events that Faye already had agreed to will be done before she leaves.
They say that it will take some time to legally finalise the termination of her contract.
An NDA means Faye, Yoko and other staff can't discuss what's happened.
Statement from NineStar Studios CEO: "First we want to acknowledge that NineStar Studios and Faye have differing perspectives in terms of internal working style and personal potential conflict of interests with external personal businesses. In previous attempts to find common ground we were unable to reach a mutually satisfactory agreement and as a result we are in the process of discussing the termination of her contract.
Regarding concerns over potential penalty fees we want to clarify that NineStar Studios does not impose any penalty fees on faye for this contract termination. The no early term penalty condition has already been agreed upon since the day she signed the contract with us. So yeah, we will not be imposing any fees.
However, the contract termination is a process that takes time and once it is legally finalised we will update the fans accordingly.
For any ongoing projects or events that have been agreed upon and signed with the clients both Faye and NineStar Studios will honour and fulfil the commitments. We assure our clients that all existing agreements will be respected."
The CEO also says that they won't comment on Faye and Yokos personal relationship they won't comment on their sensitive and personal matters. The CEO says that the termination is due to personal/professional differences with Faye and they've done their best to find a resolution.
The CEO then goes on to say "At NineStar Studios our mission is to develop and support our artists while elevating the standards of locally produced content to the global stage.
We enforce specific guidelines including disciplining social media usage, content quality, public appearances for the fan club community."
The CEO mentions that Faye and Yoko have received immense support however if an artist doesn't" align with their direction and professional expectations the company must seek a resolution that serves all parties involved".
The CEO does then continue to speak more about p'Wan, the company and it's future if anyone wishes to watch the statement in full. There's also a discussion about artists and management all being bound by Non Disclosure Agreements (NDA's).
So Faye basically can't really talk about what's happened.
The whole situation is awful and I feel really bad for Faye. They even chose an odd time of day to announce this. It seems like they've tried to do this as quietly as possible by only doing a live on one platform at an odd time.
