Not receiving verification codes from telegram.

So my previous phone got dead and now I'm trying log back into my telegram account in a different phone. But i don't receive any verification code from telegram in my text ow account. I subscribe to the ad-free + version of the app for 30 minutes with the help of earned credits by watching ads. This ad-free + version let's you experience the premium service of the app for 30 minutes. So when I try to login to my telegram account i subscribe to it and go back to telegram to follow the usual log in process. But i don't receive any kind of code or call even though i have subscribed to the ad-free+ version. Is anyone experiencing the same problem?? Few months ago i was able to receive the verification codes through the process given above but not now.
