Test only cycle. Is it worth it?

Hi guys I’m a 32m in uk and been training on and off for years but last couple years have been really consistent both in the gym and diet. I’m debating to start test. I’ve seen the affects of stronger roids and for me the negatives outweigh the pros.

Would like some advice if it’s worth to run a test only cycle. Will I be able to train more frequently lost fat easier? Etc
