Winter Supercharging tips?
Wanted to see if anyone had any tips on supercharging in the winter?
Typically, I drive 58 actual miles to work and back home. I’m in Ohio, so it’s 9 degrees right now, and I’m using about 120 miles on each drive, vs the 70 during summer. The usage isn’t what it bothering me, I get it but I feel like I’m missing something with supercharging.
This morning I scheduled to leave my house at 730, got into the car and set my map to the station next to my work. Drove an hour while it was heating up and I’m going getting like 235 miles per hour at the Tesla station. Since I’m using so much energy I have to charge before I go home and I thought it would just make sense to do it before work while the battery heats up.
It’s just weird because it’s been this cold before and I’ll shoot to 500 miles per hour.
Any advice?
