I’m just a 4th graders mom…

I came here to share this quote by Nicholas Ferroni:

“Please stop saying that we need to increase teacher salaries in order ‘recruit the best and brightest’ as if the best and brightest are not currently teaching. We need to increase teacher salaries because those currently teaching deserve and earned it.”

He couldn’t be more correct… The honesty and accuracy is on point! In my eyes, teachers deserve the world, but are too often unappreciated, overworked, and under paid. Hopefully our government and localities take this into consideration and make some drastic changes for our education system.

I also want to note that I’m just a 4th grader’s mom. I’m not an educator, but I’ll always stand up for and advocate for our teachers.
