What is the story of the 2s38?

All I could find of the 2s38 is that it was planned to complete state trials in 2022, and obviously we haven’t seen really any footage of this tank, hence my question. In war thunder, this thing is amazing, and with the current way Ukraine is going, perhaps vehicles like this one are becoming more and more relevant?
