Christine and Utah

Can someone explain to me what happened around the end of season 15 and the beginning of season 16?

-COVID happens -Utah decriminalizes polygamy -Christine says she wants to move to Utah -Meri has the “look at the mountains” talk with her -Janelle is really against it -Robyn is against it and actually makes a good point by saying that she’s tired of moving (considering she’s the one who got everyone to move to AZ anyway) -Kody says he wouldn’t mind moving back -Christine says she wanted Kody to support her when they are all talking about moving back

My question is what happened? Christine is extremely upset and cries. I’m just confused with the chain of events. Because after this the ball gets rolling rather quickly with regard to Christine wanting to leave Kody.

Was this the beginning or the catalyst?

Also what’s with this full marriage crap? Every time they talk about Meri and Kody’s relationship they say it’s not a full marriage. I get it. It’s TV and they don’t want to just come out and say that they aren’t sleeping together. It’s degrading for Meri every time he says it. Christine then says that he told her that he didn’t want to have an intimate marriage anymore. What is with Kody withholding sex as punishment?
