Career advice
So I’m 22 and I’ve been surveying since out of high school. I have almost 5 years of experience. I get sent out to jobs on my own to stake box/pipes. Curb and gutter. Slope stakes. Blue tops/grade stakes. I’m able to take inverts/measurements on existing man holes and pipes and report them to our cad guys. I can lay a bridge out with a more experienced co-worker running the 2 man gun. I can set a benchmark running a level or me on the rod. I can as-built. I can do about 99% of everything that involves a road/bridge. I never call out of work and I work 5 days a week usually leaving the house before 5am and returning around 5pm. I am located in NC. Any opinions on what y’all think I should be getting paid? Thank you.
