Lamy Al-Star as stylus?

Googling trying to convert a Lamy Al Star to use is tough, so I'll ask here. I have 2 beautiful Lamy Al Star pens with aluminum bodies I really love. Both have long since dried up and I'd like to resurrect them as Supernote pens. I guess the first question is: Can I just use it unmodified? I doubt it, there's probably no conduction getting from the body to the metal nib. Maybe it risks scratching the screen too, but I thought I'd ask.

The second question is, can I convert it somehow?
