How are VCs like?

Since its like both a shooter and a gacha how toxic are VCs on average? Everybody knows how racist COD or Hell Diver VCs are but I or my buddies never really had any racism problem with gachas. Like nobody is saying pr typing slurs or anything.

I know its gaming but if I wanna play a game I just don't wanna deal with slurs and muting half the chat. Is that a lot too ask?
