The reason I keep my paid subscription is maps

I love the maps feature in Strava, I also love that it can automatically sync a new map I just created to my Garmin in a blink of an eye. It's always been my main reason for a paid subscription.

I also love running before sunrise in the winter, so their new functionality sounds promising. I've yet to try it out of course, but this is so damn smart.

You can hate on their crappy excuses for an AI all you want (I still think it's more just a marketing stunt than anything else), but there are also reasons why Strava uses the data they have to give something back to their users, and this is (probably, I'll be sure after I've tested it) another one for me.
