That can't be comfortable

Is this a bug???? I'd never married Sebastian until after 1.6 (switch). I usually noticed during winter, but I've now seen it in fall too. It seems to end with him walking to the right across the screen over unwalkable areas. I looked, and I hadn't seen anyone else post about this. I don't think it's a problem, but... Is this normal for him? It almost seems like something he'd do.
