So what happens to the game now? (Dev studio closed)

Just read that GOOD OL UBISOFT has closed the studio that made the game and fired everyone (Hope you guys get better employers)

Does this mean the dlc and patches are just.. Not gonna happen? Are we now just S.O.L for a sequel?
