how to say corny/tacky in spanish?

my husband and i have been together for almost 4 years. he’s born and raised in DR, so obviously spanish is his first language. we’ve both done really well at learning each others language (him more than i for sure) but two words i use often that i’ve had trouble with finding equivalent words in spanish are tacky and corny. i try so hard to explain to him what they mean, but i don’t think anything i can say quite catches the vibes. please, any other words yall know in spanish or maybe just different ways i can explain the vibe of those words in english would help so much lol
