Am I doing things wrong?

So I started out YouTube about 2-3 years ago I took a big gap but came back with two super popular games (poppy playtime) I had a good mic snd proper editing and hit more views than I usually do, yet it doesn’t grow. Does anyone have suggestions for a new YouTuber?
