[Routine Help] Routine in New Climates

I have always struggled with acne. Recently, its been hormonal acne heavily based on my diet. I just spent a month in Arizona (very dry climate) and even with the same habits, my skin was more clear than its ever been.

I just got back to Southern California (bit more humid than Arizona) and I am breaking out. Its not really white heads though. Ive washed my bedding, eat pretty healthy, though I could be drinking more water (currently drinking 80oz per day)

In the dry climate (AZ), my skin is also dry, so I use Cream cleansers. In more humid places (SoCal), my skin tends to be a bit more oily, so i typically use foam cleansers. In Arizona, this was my skin routine before bed that worked for me: 1. Cool water rinse 2. Cream Cleanser 3. Derma Stamp (started using about 2 weeks ago) 4. La Roche-Posay Adapalene Gel (leave on my face overnight) 5. Every other night, Paulas Choice Chemical Exfoliator

I dont like putting moisturizer on my face all night, because then i wake up super oily. If thats wrong, please let me know

So my main concern right now while im in California… Should I use a Foam Cleanser? Im scared of a possible skin purge from switching products. Please give me any critique ❤️
