Proper roleplay

Hey, does anyone know how to get the AI to write a proper RP, instead of just chatting and tossing in half-hearted actions here and there? I’m talking about more detailed interactions with the environment, introducing NPCs, that sort of thing—kind of like what AI Dungeon does. I’m using Infermatic and have tried all the models, but nothing’s working so far. I know you can tweak the CFG, author notes, context/instructions, etc., but every time I adjust one thing, something else breaks, and it’s starting to drive me crazy.
