Found this piece around 20-25 years ago, seems legit. Taino or aztec looking piece and need help identifying it. [Found] [Help]

We found this piece in an apartment cleanup from an old latino couple. It looks pretty old and has taino or aztec vibe to it. If anyone can help me identify it, I would greatly appreciate it!
