DOE School Social Work

Im officially hired with the NYC DOE after working in a charter school. YAY! My principal is on vacation and I know it varies by school but I was wondering if anyone here has worked at more than one school with the doe? Im going to be at one elementary school as my base but I will also be working at a middle school two days out of the week. What does your day to day look like?

Also, just in general to NYC DOE social workers, what does the partnership look like with the school psychologist and guidance counselor and what does your day to day look like?

I already emailed my principal many questions but I just wanted to get some sort of idea before hand. Also I’d anyone has any tips!
