Lunar New Year/ Tết/ Chinese New Year recommendations for newbies?

Hello! I'm wanting to learn more about the celebration of Lunar New Year! Is there any places in SJC that are open to the public/other cultures celebrating with them?

I'm white AF and am trying to learn more about the vast cultures we have in America. And as today is the start of the Lunar New Year celebration, my husband and I wanted to get a better understanding or respect of our fellow SJC neighbors.

Woke up last night to firecrackers and fell down a midnight rabbit hole online. Now I want to learn more and possibly celebrate alongside our neighbors too( as respectfully as possible of course.) Is that allowed/welcomed? I don't want to be intrusive or rude or disrespectful due to my ignorance of the different cultures who celebrate.
