For anyone have controller connection issues

I've seen a few comments about this recently, try this:

System Settings> Controllers and Sensors> Disconnect controllers

And then reconnect your controller from 'Change Grip/Order'

(in case this post is breaking rule 3) I was really salty about controllers lagging/disconnecting and this was what worked for me
