Just Finished ALJ hearing

Hearing lasted about twenty minutes. I suffer from Bipolar 2 and anxiety. I have 4 years of medical records, a 20 year work history, along with a function report from my Dr listing me as either Marked or Extreme for every question, adding that I would be expected to miss work 3 days a month.

When it came down to the vocational expert, he listed three jobs I could do, one of which was mail sorter. The judge asked him how many jobs if the employee is expected to miss just two days a month, the expert said none. Judge asked how many jobs if the employee is unable to interact with any coworkers or supervisors, the expert said none. Judge then asked how many jobs if the employee is unable to interact with the general public, the expert said none. The judge concluded by wishing me and my family the best and that he will render a decision within 30 days.

My lawyer called afterwords to tell me she thinks it went very well, and she was impressed by how open and honest I was. She also said that everything I spoke about is 100% backed in my medical records, and that if I get denied she wants go to the federal appeal because she “truly believes in my case”.

Soooo….lets see what happens.
