Is anyone concerned that recent videos takes way too long to gain a million?

I am aware that this has been discussed before. But I feel as though it needed to be picked up again.

I'm concerned considering it has a channel with over 8.62 million (currently) subscribers with less views. Does anyone share the same feeling?
