MMC to FMC: “tell me to stop”

I’ve come to realise I love this trope where the MCs are getting intimate and the MMC tells FMC to stop him for whatever reason, but not in a rape or dark kind of way.

Examples include {Enemies with Benefits by Roxie Noir} where the MMC kisses FMC for the first time when they’re still enemies and dares her to say no.

{Pretty Monster by Sheridan Anne} MMC begs FMC to stop him when they’re getting it on in their apartment building hallway because he wants her so badly and doesn’t think he’ll be able to stop himself.

I’m currently reading {Hawke by Jescie Hall} - FMC is attracted to MMC despite being in a relationship with someone else and when they first kiss he begs her to tell him to stop for obvious reasons.

Don’t want any non-consent where MC really should stop, but rather they’re just giving in to each other. M/F. Can be FMC begging MMC to stop her. No cheating between MCs unless there’s an EPIC grovel, which I’ve yet to see 😫. I don’t mind if they’re cheating with each other as long as it’s done well. Open to any genre. Thank you!
