Is this amount of seperation and curdling normal for a first batch?
Recipe:
900mL UHT whole milk (I did not boil it) 1 tbsp chicory inulin powder 5 BioGaia Osfortis pills
Consistency: Very watery like drinkable yogurt, might harden in the fridge overnight
Smell: straight up cheesy 🧀
Taste: will update
For further inoculations, which of these plans would be better to follow?
A: taking ~3tbsp of the previous batch and on top of that adding 2 Osfortis pills, doing it indefinitely.
B: taking ~3tbsp of the previous batch, but only for the following 4/5 batches, then starting over a new one with 5 Osfortis pills like this first batch.
Which would be the better option? Thank you.
