where the hell r u guys finding friends???

i (24F) have almost no social life outside of work. i think maybe if i started going to events i have interest in, tht i may start finding ppl to befriend. i don't have a car so it's a little hard to get around. i do ride the bus, but i live towards Stead so it's like 40+ mins to get anywhere lmao. but anyways, i jus dont know how to meet ppl anymore. i have become extremely insecure over the past few years as well as awkward n a bit anxious. so where r u all meeting friends??? how?? i want to get out more. maybe go to lunch or walk by the river or go hiking or go to events, etc.
