Rain Code 3D Models Blend Files
After a couple of painstaking months of figuring things out, I finally wanted to share this whole collection of Rain Code models that I've ported from the game
Which you can find here: https :// mega. nz /folder/ 84ln1KhK#EmEoOnwL1T7J8_NtnDpvWQ
(Just remove all the spaces. Reddit deleted it last time I tried to post this)
A small sample below:
They're all in the form of .blend files, which I saved in Blender 3.4 (I know its old, but all my good addons haven't been updated to the latest version of blender yet) They should work perfectly fine in later versions.
The collection includes most of the main characters, side characters, DLC characters, and even no-name NPC's
I tried to jam in as much as I could, and admittedly it made me tear my hair out a little from all the work that needed to be done.
I might have missed a character or two so if you notice, you could tell me and I'll see about adding them in.
Depending on the model there are also different outfit variations that you can enable/disable manually in the armature.
They also contain shapekeys for expressions (Though some dont work, I'm not sure why)
Theres even a mask modifier for sweat/tears for some of the characters
One little quirk about the models is that every material uses a group node for the textures
Since its on every material, it basically bloats the group category if you ever try to check it. The reason for that is because I had a script written to help me not lose my sanity while I imported all those textures. It helped "automate" the process, just a little bit.
Lastly, while there is a category for Maps and Props, its pretty barebones, cause by this point I was pretty much checked out from all the character models. The maps especially were extremely tiring to get the materials sorted, even with the script. Maybe if there is a huge request for a specific map or prop I could maybe try.
Special thanks to for creating the BSDF setup for these models, and also teaching exactly how to export the Rain Code models from the files. I wouldn't have been able to do it without them.
