just a Kandi Burrus appreciation post
I want to take a moment to express my love for Kandi Burruss aka the longest running real housewife to date. My mom watched Atlanta way before me and I had remembered her being annoyed by Kandi often (this was in very early seasons) so I had assumptions off the bat because momma is supposed to know best. But not this time (I should check back in on that opinion). Years later I watched Atlanta myself. They became my favorite franchise and I kept waiting for the reason to dislike Kandi, but it never came. She's level headed, she would give the world to her friends and family (even the shitty ones.......kim...mama joyce), she can make fun of herself, and she spoils herself while being pretty responsible, lol. Kandi doesn't make drama for no reason and she's fiercely loyal. The list goes on. When everything happened with Phaedra I felt like somebody had done that to my best friend. I felt the betrayal bc how are you going to do that to KANDI. wtf?? I felt like she was used and abused by so many people in her life and she deserves so much more. Anyway. She's my favorite and I will miss her so much.
