UV2Plus question

I love my K5 as well as other TYT and Baofeng HTs but I’m running into a situation where I need a superheterodyne receiver so was considering the UV2Plus. My other radios are good in most places, but my sister recently moved and her new home is only about 600 feet from an antenna that has NOAA weather radio as well as a couple of FM stations. This overloads my receiver to the point of making it useless.

I know that most posts these days are about the K5 but was wondering if there was anyone around that had any feedback on the UV2Plus? I realize it has a quirky menu, but I don’t think that will be an issue for me. The biggest things that I was hoping to get feedback on our power levels and reception. For transmitting I’m in the US so would be most curious about power levels for the upper 70CM band between 440-450MHz. For receiving I would be the most interested in 2M/440 and 160-161MHz. I visit there a few times a year and when I do, I try to take advantage of the fact that she lives on a very busy railroad line and get in some train watching.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer my questions.
