Double major in CMPE and EE possible?

I know I could take classes regardless but I want to be able to work in both fields. Are double majors between these to allowed I could only find the departments rules for majors between CMPE and CS being banned which makes sense but there is not a lot of overlap between cmpe and ee in upper divisions so I thought this might be possible.
