No spear in season 3??

What is your thoughts on spear not being in season 3 ? Rumors says that he's not gonna be a part of season 3

My personal thoughts : for me spear is an important part of the series so I can't imagine a season without him.

And I say this without knowing if he dies in the end of season 2 but I'm finishing the season later or tomorrow.

edit: i have watched it all now and understand why he's not in season 3 xD not sure what to think about the ending tho.
