Moving to Prescott?

Hi all! I’m looking at possibly moving to Prescott. I lived in Flagstaff for grad school and loved it, then moved to Tucson for a few years and I just can’t stand the heat anymore.

I’m keeping my options open for moving anywhere in Northern AZ, and wanted to get a feel of how Prescott is (and if it’s similar at all to Flagstaff). I would love to life back in Flag, but the housing availability/cost is a ridiculous currently.

I’m 33F, left-leaning, mental health therapist, hobbies include art, hiking, video games/board games, and would like to get back into yoga & pottery classes.

How’s the making friends scene? Fun things to get out of the house with? Overall safety of Prescott?
