I actually love the angst here

Like the callback to his confrontation with Portia and the devastation on both of their faces because they both still love each other so much. Inject it into my veins.

Maybe it’s because I watched soap operas for years where couples regularly said terrible things to each other (much worse than this) that I enjoy angst.
