Weird issue

At the moment, when I turn on my portal and attempt to connect to my ps5, it just says ‘can’t connect.’ The ps5 is in rest mode and will connect and boot from ps4’s remote play and the ps remote play app on my iOS devices and my PC first try. Not until I log completely out of the portal and log back in will it trigger a successful connection. This started yesterday and is still continuing to be a problem. Once I log back in and do the pairing process again, it connects, I play, I put it in rest mode. Turn off the portal. And the next attempt the cycle repeats. I can’t really make out what it going on, does anyone have an idea or have experience with this?

• it’s a little annoying to have to do this everytime, it causes me to redo all my lighting and controller settings too.
