multiplayer question

Hi! I saw kripp and rarran play this game, looks cool but I have a question.

Is there any multiplayer aspect to it? I know that the battles are other players' builds but they are snapshotted. In other autobattlers I played - autochess, underlords, hs bg there was always strategy to looking what builds other people are going for and counter playing it. Is there something like this here?

From outside perspective this looks like a single-player game - not denying how fun it is for you guys.
