Is this axillary breast tissue or just armpit fat?
Hi y’all, I’ve had this sucker for about 3 months now. First time it came, it was huge (could barely close my arm down) but was told by my PCP it’s most likely just inflammation rather than a swollen lymph node or something. The tylenol and heating pad I used did reduce some of the swelling, but the lump never fully went away.
For the longest I thought it was a lymph node, but after researching axillary breast tissue, thinking it might be that now. For context, 5’6 & 165lbs, have recently gained a few, have the lump on one side only, and it seems as though the lump fluctuates in size from time to time. I plan to lose some weight and see if that reduces it, but if that fails, I’m considering a light/possibly non-surgical lipo procedure to eliminate it as I’m starting to get a bit insecure about it.
It also does feel soft & fatty, only a bit firm but mostly soft. I’d appreciate any reply/help/tips so much <33
