Proton VPN is $1.99/mo right now

Just an FYI for anyone shopping for a VPN - Proton VPN is on sale for $1.99 with 24 month subscription. I frequently see it mentioned here as one of the best VPNs since it has port forwarding and it's usually $5/mo.

They kind of dick you around with the pricing - when I clicked on the BF sale link in the free Proton VPN it gave me a price of $2.99/month but you can find the $1.99/mo if you google it. Looks like existing premium users might be SOL also.... stay safe.

Edit: Multiple people have asked. I believe the $1.99 price was a one day sale and it is now expired.
