Elden Ring Character Manager

I'm trying to use the character manager to run a save file that I've downloaded, it's my first time so I wanted to know if the manager works with the pirated version of Elden Ring , I've downloaded both the manager and save file from Nexus mod I'm running this on Elden Ring SOTE edition
