Audio book piracy on iPhone help

I've been able to access tons of audio books on my android phone for years. No issues there. But I wanna help a friend do the same for her iPhone. I can get her the audiofiles (mp3) but would like some help on how do get them onto her phone (I use airdroid for my android) as well as what free app she should use to play said files.
