"Mare" baiting me so hard, HELP

Yo, i had like 3-4 situations where i turn on the light in a room and immediately the ghost turn it off like very very fast (1s max 2s), i was like DAMN i know who it is (mare), then it turns out it isn't a mare. It happened to me like 3-4 times, in the last 5 days. Where do i make a mistake or how is it not mare's ability?
