CVS application
hi all! so, I just started my journey to become a pharmacy tech last month right before I was abruptly laid off. I have received my trainee license so I've been applying everywhere possible in retail. but I'm a little confused and worried about the CVS application - it's asking me to enter the information for the pharmacy school I'm enrolled in, however, I'm not enrolled in a school for this. I am attending community college but not for pharmacy. do I have to go to school for this, did I miss something?
a friend of mine is the one who told me about this career path because one of her friends did it and says she makes pretty decent income. I'm also in Texas if that helps. from my understanding and from what I've read on the Texas Pharmacy Board website, it did not mention school was necessary. just that you have 2 years to complete the exam and be certified once you get the trainee license, so I was thinking I could do hands on learning in retail plus quizlet and other online practice tests. this is my current plan based on info I've received from my friend, the main website, Google, and reddit.
any help or insight would be greatly appreciated, I've also attached the part on the application where it asks for this info.
