Adults applying adult logic to children’s shows

It’s actually really sad. I’ve ran into a few subs on here that clearly don’t like certain cartoons and I would argue it’s because they obviously grew up with a different style of animation and plot for whatever shows they like to watch, but the hatred they have for these cartoons is insane. I think that the discussions are actually more ridiculous because they tried to apply adult logic to these shows. I’ve even seen discussions of shows that are banned in some people’s households just because they don’t like the show and it’s annoying.

I don’t know how invested or involved you guys are in your children’s cartoons, but I can’t remember my mom ever doing this. She loves cartoons and she enjoyed a bunch of shows I like to watch, but there were others that seemed may be ridiculous to her and I just like them because I was a child so she would just let me watch them and she would go off and do her own thing in order to avoid getting annoyed . I don’t like Peppa Pig. I think it’s stupid, I don’t like frozen, the first movie it’s annoying, but still, my cousin is allowed to watch whatever she likes. I’ll just avoid getting annoyed. if children’s cartoon seem stupid to you or they’re just that annoying. Just remember that they’re not for you.
