After bills, how much are you saving?

Hi all,

Me and my partner are in the process of buying our first home. However, we are getting quite overwhelmed with the additional bills on top of the mortgage.

I’ve calculated our living expenses, insurance and mortgage and it totals to $5.8k per month and our income combined is $6.8k per month. Keeping in mind the living cost Ive calculated is tight and we will have to sacrifice our takeaways and such.
