4090 or 5080

Hi, so seeing as the new 50xx gpus are coming out soon I'm probably going to do a whole new build. Thing is I most lilely won't be able to afford the 5090. With what we know of the 5080, would I be better off with a 4090 or should I try and grab a 5080 ?
